Three surveys of the Cemetery have been carried out:
1947 by the Real del Monte Company when 669 graves were recorded of which 289 contained inscriptions that could be read.
1987/89 by Laura and Terrence Dudley of Risca when 680 graves were recorded of which 168 graves contained legible inscriptions.
2008 a detailed GPS and photographic survey was carried out which recorded 750 graves.

The list of graves has been obtained from researches at Real-del-Monte in 1987 and 1989 by Laura and Terrence Dudley. Where there is only grave number, name and sometimes date, this was obtained from a list and plan which was prepared in 1947 by the Real-del-Monte and Pachuca Mining Company. Some of the gravestones or markers which existed then no longer stand.
The list has been prepared alphabetically except where there are different names in one grave. These are left in a group as it sometimes shows family relationships. Wording in italics has been added from information received from other sources.
It will be noted that the Cemetery is still in use today by some of these families. The grave numbers used in this list refers to the 1947 survey.
